AI Principles

Last updated: July 11, 2026

Where We Stand Today

Model B does not currently use artificial intelligence or large language models anywhere in the product. There's no AI feature to describe yet — this page exists to say that plainly, and to commit to the principles we'll hold ourselves to before that changes.

Our Commitments, Before We Introduce Any AI Feature

We'll tell you first. If Model B introduces an AI-powered feature, schools using the platform will be told clearly what it does and how it works — not silently enabled without notice.

Your data won't train anyone else's model. Student and school data will never be used to train third-party AI models. If we use an AI provider for a feature, that data relationship will be scoped to providing the feature itself, nothing more.

AI supports staff, it doesn't replace their judgment. Any AI feature we build will be designed to support a teacher's or administrator's decision-making — not to make autonomous decisions about a student on their behalf.

Same privacy and security standards, no exceptions. Any future AI feature will be held to the same data-handling commitments described in our Privacy Policy and Security Overview — not a separate, lighter standard because it's "just AI."

You'll have visibility and control. Where practical, schools will have insight into whether an AI feature is active for their account, not just a blanket platform-wide switch flipped without their knowledge.
