We haven't yet completed formal accessibility testing — no WCAG conformance audit, no dedicated screen reader testing program. We'd rather say that plainly than imply a level of testing that hasn't happened. This is a real gap we intend to close, not something we want to overstate.
Model B is built around a calm, uncluttered interface with opinionated defaults — deliberately reducing visual noise and decision fatigue for staff working under real time pressure (a principal at morning arrival duty, a teacher during a fire drill). That design philosophy tends to produce interfaces that are easier for everyone to use, including people relying on assistive technology, but it isn't a substitute for dedicated accessibility testing, and we don't want to present it as one.
We intend to pursue formal accessibility review, with WCAG 2.1 AA as a practical benchmark, as the platform and company mature. If your school or district has specific accessibility requirements as part of your evaluation process, we want to know about them directly rather than have you discover a gap on your own.
If you or someone at your school uses assistive technology and runs into a barrier using Model B, please tell us. Accessibility feedback from real educators is more useful to us than a checklist, and we'll treat it as a priority.
